李惟平
李惟平為馬里蘭大學新聞學院博士後研究員。她於馬里蘭大學新聞學院取得博士學位,研究領域為數位政策、政治宣傳、陰謀論與虛假訊息。
李惟平曾在台灣經濟日報與遠見雜誌任職記者與國際新聞編譯,並有美國紐約州律師執照。她曾為科技公司提供與數位人權相關的顧問諮詢服務,也多年為【全球之聲倡議計畫】(Global Voices Advox) 撰寫數位人權趨勢周報 (Netizen Report),並在法學與新聞傳播領域的國際期刊發表研究著作。
李惟平於美國賓州大學取得法律碩士學位,並分別在台灣東吳大學、政治大學取得法律碩士及新聞碩士學位。
Wei-Ping Li is a postdoctoral researcher at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland and has been a research fellow at Taiwan FactCheck Center since August 2023. Her research focuses on propaganda, conspiracy theories, transnational dissemination of false information, and media policy.
Wei-Ping received her Ph.D. degree at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. Before pursuing an academic career, she offered consulting services on digital human rights in Asia and also worked as a journalist for media outlets in Taiwan. She earned her LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and has been admitted to the practice of law in New York State.
